yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect A line of severe thunderstorms was located from 17 kilometres west of Connors to 25 kilometres southwest of Connors, moving northeast at 55 km/h. Hazards: - 90 km/h wind gusts. - Quarter size hail. - Heavy rainfall. - A tornado is also possible. Locations impacted include: Connors, Val Oakes, Pelletiers Mill, Clair, Les Rapides, Portage-du-Lac, Caron Brook, Baker-Brook, Saint-François de Madawaska, Lac Baker. ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches.
