yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 3:38 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and up to quarter size hail. A severe thunderstorm was located 5 kilometres north of Bass Lake Provincial Park, moving east at 30 km/h. Hazards: - 90 km/h wind gusts. - Quarter size hail. ### Local utility outages are likely. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches.
