Strongest wind along the western half of the Sacramento Valley. * Humidity...Minimum relative humidity of 5 to 15 percent today and Monday. Poor relative humidity recoveries in the 25 to 45 percent range, lowest along the western edge of the Sacramento Valley. * Highest Threat...Northern and Central Sacramento Valley, especially west of the Interstate 5 corridor and elevations below 2000 feet. * Impacts...The combination of gusty wind and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity. Outdoor burning is not recommended. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
