La Moine River at Colmar affecting McDonough and Hancock Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...La Moine River at Colmar. * WHEN...Until late Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Water affects a few houses near the McDonough and Schuyler county line. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 22.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.9 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
