Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 19 at 4:23AM CDT until June 20 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding during high tide cycles. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. * WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Flooding could encroach on low sections of Hwy 1 between Port Fourchon and Grand Isle. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. This includes ground-level storage, which could be flooded in some of the lowest lying coastal areas.

Wind Advisory issued June 19 at 3:32AM CDT until June 19 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA * WHAT...East winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected Coastal Mississippi and portions of southeast Louisiana. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
