High Wind Warning issued June 4 at 2:29AM MDT until June 5 at 12:00PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT * WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 80 mph. * WHERE...The Rocky Mountain Front and adjacent foothills and plains, and Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera Counties. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Tree damage and power outages are expected given the emergence of foliage. Strong crosswinds will cause difficult to hazardous travel for drivers of high profile vehicles or those towing trailers. High winds may move loose debris and damage property. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind speeds are likely to peak in intensity early this morning then decrease slightly before peaking again this evening and overnight. Drivers of high profile vehicles, including recreational vehicles are urged to use extreme caution or even delay travel if possible. Those with outdoor recreation interests should plan for hazardous strong and gusty winds.
