HAZARD...Wind gusts 35 to 45 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... North Augusta, Edgefield, Edgefield County Airport, Burnettown, Trenton, Lick Fork Campground, Strom Thurmond High School, Harmony, Murphys Estates, Mt Vintage, Cleora, Colliers, Vaucluse, Edgefield Federal Correction Institution, and Murphy Village. This includes the following highways... Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 5 and 15. Interstate 520 in South Carolina near mile marker 23. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
