HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Morristown, Jefferson City, Newport, Dandridge, White Pine, Baneberry, Parrottsville, Bybee, Chestnut Hill, and Bird Crossing. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Northeastern Jefferson County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 1215 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1017 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Morristown, Jefferson City, Rutledge, New Tazewell, Tazewell, Thorn Hill, Lone Mountain, Panther Creek State Park and Alpha. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
