Extreme Heat Warning issued July 4 at 11:56AM EDT until July 4 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Charleston WV * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 107. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and central, northern, southern, and western West Virginia. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles.
